On 31.03.2026, Roster LTD launched project No. BG16RFPR001-2.004-1693-C01 "Improving Energy Efficiency at Roster LTD through the Installation of Thermal Insulation Systems Using Sandwich Panels for External Walls".
Roster LTD is a construction company with extensive experience in the demolition and dismantling of buildings and structures. The company specialises in all types of demolition work — residential, public, infrastructure and industrial. Over the years, the company has expanded its activities to offer a wide range of services. An energy management system compliant with ISO 50001:2018 has been implemented.
In line with its energy policy, the company will invest in thermal insulation systems — insulation of external walls adjacent to open air — using PUR/PU polyurethane sandwich panels for Hall 11, located in Kameno. The building has a prefabricated reinforced-concrete structure with no insulating panels. Metal skylights, which are compromised and cause significant heat loss, have been removed.
The planned sandwich panels will comply with the requirements of Ordinance RD-02-20-3 of 09.11.2022 on the technical requirements for the energy characteristics of buildings: thermal conductivity coefficient ≤ 0.022 W/m.K and fire reaction class D. The minimum thickness of the thermal insulation system will be ≥ 60 mm.
PUR/PU polyurethane sandwich panels offer exceptional thermal and acoustic properties. Their ability to maintain a constant indoor temperature contributes to comfortable working conditions regardless of external weather. By minimising winter heat losses and summer heat gains, these panels will reduce the load on HVAC systems and lower energy costs — in line with the company's energy policy.
Key Objectives
Implementation of measures to reduce energy consumption and costs, leading to energy savings and increased competitiveness. Specific objectives include:
- Reducing energy costs
- Reducing CO₂ emissions
- Continuous improvement of energy performance
- Reducing energy resource costs
- Improving profitability
- Increasing competitiveness
- Modernising the asset base with low-energy equipment
- Compliance with applicable legal requirements
- Improving energy management processes
At a global level, the project will accelerate the transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimising energy consumption and increasing the share of renewables in the company's energy mix.
